The Brewery
Founded in June of 2013 by Jonathan Wright, Redbeard Brewing is a nano-brewery with an attached taproom and beer garden in historic downtown Staunton, VA. Our brewhouse is a ~3 barrel system and we have a total fermentation capability of ~20 barrels. Each batch is hand crafted by one person from beginning to end, using ancient techniques, but modern equipment. Our beers are brewed with high quality Belgian, German, and American grown malts, American and imported hops, and Staunton municipal tap water. Typically American, English, and/or Belgian styles are available, on 10-15 taps. Our beers are unfiltered and un-fined. Being unfiltered our beer will often pour somewhat hazy.

We are open seven days a week from noon - midnight. We are not a full service restaurant, but we encourage you to bring in your own food or have anything delivered or picked up from one of the many local restaurants around town. Please check out our menu book located behind the bar for options! We offer charcuterie snack packs behind the bar, as well as other snack & soda options in our Vending Machine that takes cash or credit card!

WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?
We are located at 120 South Lewis Street, Staunton VA, 24401. Next to Sunspots Studios and across from Ciders from Mars.
WHAT ARE YOUR TAPROOM HOURS?
We are open every day from noon - midnight.
DO YOU SERVE FOOD/CAN I BRING OUTSIDE FOOD?
We are not a full service restaurant, but we do have charcuterie snack packs available for purchase behind the bar. We also have several snack and soda options available to purchase from our vending machine (takes cash or credit card). You are allowed to bring in your own food or have anything delivered or picked up from one of our many local restaurants. Check out our menu book located behind the bar for options!
WHERE CAN I PARK?
We have on site parking located behind our building. There is also on street parking, as well as two city parking lots within a block.
CAN I BRING MY DOG?
We allow leashed, well behaved dogs outside in our beer garden. We do ask that you continue refraining from bringing your furry friends to special events.
DO YOU FILL GROWLERS?
No, we do not currently fill outside growlers. We do offer beer to go in Crowler Cans (16oz), various 4-packs of 16oz cans, and we periodically have a small selection of bottles available.
CAN I DRINK MY CROWLER IN THE TASTING ROOM?
NO. Crowlers are strictly to go only.
CAN YOU SHIP ME YOUR BEER?
YES!! We currently offer shipping within the state of Virginia.
CAN I BRING IN OUTSIDE BEER?
NO. Our license does not allow outside alcohol of any type.
DO YOU SELL BOTTLED BEER?
On occasion.
CAN I BUY A KEG?
We currently do not offer keg sales to the general public.

DO YOU HAVE MERCHANDISE FOR SALE?
We have merchandise and apparel for sale in the Taproom and in our Online Store, see the store link above.
DO YOU HAVE GIFT CARDS FOR SALE?
Yes, physical gift cards are available to purchase in the Taproom OR we also offer e-gift cards that you can purchase online through our website.
CAN I RENT YOUR SPACE FOR A PRIVATE EVENT?
We do not currently rent the space out for private events.
DO YOU TAKE RESERVATIONS?
We are able to make certain table reservations for parties of 8 - 24 people. Parties of 10 or more require a reservation. Please contact our General Manager, Amanda Clark, at redbeard.brewing@gmail.com for more information and to make a reservation.
DO YOU OFFER BEER FLIGHTS?
We offer a 5oz portion size of all our beers and encourage you to custom build your own flight.
WHAT ARE YOUR NON-ALCOHOLIC DRINK OPTIONS?
We have several NA Beer options available behind the bar, as well as San Pellegrino sparkling water, various kinds of Blue Ridge Bucha, and CBD infused sparkling water. There are several soda options available to purchase in our vending machine, and of course we are always happy to pour you Staunton's finest tap water.
DO YOU HAVE WINE, CIDER, OR GLUTEN FREE OPTIONS?
We do not currently offer or have plans to produce a gluten free beer. Also, Virginia ABC law prevents us from selling alcoholic beverages that we do not produce, such as wine and cider. We have non-alcoholic options available that are gluten free.
CAN I TOUR YOUR BREWERY?
We currently do not offer brewery tours.

DO YOU ALLOW VAPING / SMOKING?
We ask that you please refrain from using e-cigarettes or vaping devices inside the Taproom. Smoking and vaping may be done in the beer garden.
